Engagement rate

The share of a creator's audience that interacts with content, used as a proxy for audience quality.

Engagement rate measures likes, comments, and shares relative to views or subscribers. A high engagement rate suggests an active, trusting audience, which usually converts better than raw reach. It is a useful filter when comparing creators, though for dev tools, audience fit and intent matter more than engagement alone.
